Privacy
Your privacy stays yours.
This policy explains what Hawas.Social processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to you. Last updated September 27, 2026.
Information you provide
We process the details you submit when creating and using an account, including your email, date of birth confirmation, profile information, photos, interests, discovery preferences, messages, meetup plans, reports, support requests, and verification submissions.
If you request Hawas Pro, we also process the phone number and payment screenshot you provide for manual payment review. Do not include full bank account, card, or identity-document details in a payment screenshot.
Location and nearby discovery
Location is used to calculate who may be relevant nearby. Other members receive only an approximate distance or broad area, never your exact coordinates, home address, or live location. You can pause discovery or change visibility settings at any time.
Messages and contact details
Messages remain inside Hawas.Social. The service may detect and prevent personal contact details in protected content to reduce unwanted off-platform contact. Member email addresses, phone numbers, social handles, and exact locations are not displayed to other members.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, display profiles, apply discovery preferences, calculate approximate distance, create matches, deliver messages and notifications, plan public meetups, provide Favorites and history, review Pro requests, prevent fraud, investigate reports, and maintain service security.
Verification and safety reviews
Verification evidence and reports are private and restricted to the submitting member and authorized reviewers. A verification badge is a trust signal, not a guarantee of identity, character, safety, or future conduct. Relevant records may be retained when needed to investigate abuse or prevent repeated harm.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be processed by carefully selected service providers that support hosting, authentication, storage, security, and service operations. It may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect a person from serious harm, or to establish and defend legal claims. Hawas.Social does not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the service, safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Hawas.Social uses access controls and technical safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can update profile and privacy settings, pause discovery, manage blocked members, remove content, and request account deletion in Settings. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, export, restriction, or objection through the Contact page. Some safety, payment, or legal records may need to be retained after deletion.
Adults only and policy updates
Hawas.Social is strictly for people aged 18 and over. We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change and will provide appropriate notice for material changes. Questions or privacy requests can be sent through the Contact page.
